Scalable was proud to participate in the Atap Design Awards (ADA) 2025 for the second consecutive year, bringing home a gold award for Best Restaurant Design and receiving recognitions that further cement our reputation for innovative and impactful design.
The Atap Design Awards 2025 returned this year for its seventh edition, continuing its celebration of outstanding design across Malaysia and the wider region. Held on Friday, 21 November 2025, at the JW Marriot Kuala Lumpur, the event brought together leading industry professionals in interior design and architecture.

Bidou, the MICHELIN Selected French restaurant located in the quaint neighbourhood of Damansara Heights and founded by acclaimed Chef Darren Teoh, was awarded Gold in the Best Restaurant Design category. Chef Darren played a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction of the space, working closely with Scalable’s interior designers and project managers, Mac Shao Ru and Lee Tuck Onn, to bring the vision of French elegance and sophistication to life. Adorned with wainscoted walls, curvilinear design and mischievous artwork, the space evokes a homelike warmth, elegance, and whimsy.

Scalable is also honoured to be named Finalist in the Best Leisure and Wellness Design category for The PxP Pickleball Club, now recognised as Kuala Lumpur’s premier indoor pickleball destination located at Pavilion Damansara Heights. Affectionately known as The PxP, the space draws inspiration from an urban country club designed not only as a sports facility but also as a wellness and social hub complete with recovery facilities and a multipurpose event area. The project was led by Assistant Project Manager, Hairizan Harun, who oversaw its delivery from conceptual development to final execution.

Additionally, the Paramount Corporation Berhad office earned Finalist recognition in the Best Workspace Design (>10,000 sq. ft.) category. Located in Paramount Property’s ATWATER Corporate Towers in Petaling Jaya, the office is designed with nature-inspired tones and textures that create a calming, Zen-like ambience without sacrificing Paramount's corporate identity. The project was led by Hairizan Harun and collaboratively designed by interior designers Lee Tuck Onn, Ooi Rou Jie, and Mac Shao Ru.

Paramount Coworking Assistant General Manager and Head of Scalable Malaysia, Wayne Yap, said, “The award and recognitions from the Atap Design Awards reflect our commitment to creating spaces that balance functionality and refined aesthetics. Each project represents a collaboration of ideas, craftsmanship, and a shared vision with our partners and clients. We are honoured that our work continues to be recognised by industry leaders and these achievements motivate us to push boundaries even further.”
These recognitions further strengthen Scalable’s growing track record in design and build excellence. In the previous edition of the Atap Design Awards 2024, Scalable secured Silver in Best Public Space Design for Paramount Property Gallery @ The Ashwood and received Finalist recognition in Best Retail Design for ZCOVA’s first retail store in IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.
