Senior Executive – Business Development

About The Role

The primary duty of Senior Executive – Business Development is to grow the company by achieving sales and profitability objectives for new projects and clientele through building good rapport with businesses. Senior Executive – Business Development is part of the workplace solution team that directly manages short-and long-term projects for Scalable Malaysia, an entity of Paramount Property. The employee is responsible for generating revenue and production of large volume fit-out projects in Klang Valley.

Key Responsibilities
  1. You will be tasked with promoting Scalable Malaysia to medium to large corporations, commercial real estate agents and any appropriate business lead.
  2. Demonstrate complete understanding of Scalable Malaysia’s business (Design, Build, Manage) to instill a sense of confidence in our prospective clients.
  3. Research and identify profitable marketplace opportunities for Scalable Malaysia and build a sales pipeline by generating leads for us.
  4. Develop pitch decks to present well-researched solutions to clients that make good business sense.
  5. Communicate in strategic teams formed with experts from other departments to develop customised solutions with the common goal of meeting the clients needs.
  6. You would also be involved in planning and running events at workspaces of our clients.
Key Requirements
  1. Above all else, we need someone with good business sense, believes in building healthy long-term working relationships with colleagues and clients, and truly believe that a personality must be added to any commercial projects especially companies deserve good workspaces built from scratch.
  2. Strong communication skills are a must with good written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Candidates proficient in Mandarin and other dialects will have an added advantage.
  3. We prefer candidates with 3-4 years of experience in project sales or enterprise account management, project tendering or relevant experience in similar fields.
  4. Willing to travel in the field for work and work in the office as well (must possess your own transportation).
  5. Able to work independently as much as they are able to work in a team.
  6. Applicants with a passion for selling modern workplaces have an added advantage.
